Objective of the role:
The person holding the role of Holding Controlling Team Leader is responsible for controlling the financial positions (including Balance Sheet and P&L reviews), management reporting and budget consolidation for Holding entities. He/she manages the controlling and management reporting for Holding entities, allocates costs to cost centers and WBS and is responsible for the continuous improvement of the entities' processes in all areas of responsibility.
Main responsibilities:
Ensure timely and accurate management reporting as per the agreed deadlines and KPIsWork with related parties to ensure correct cost recognition and balance sheet positions at each month end close is achieved (main areas include, but not limited to: OPEX, CAPEX, Accruals, Prepayments, Project allocations)Analyze P&L and BS variances and provide valuable insights deviations between Actuals and Budgeted or Forecasted figuresComply with applicable company policies and proceduresRecommend process improvements to create greater efficiency and productivityEnsure smooth Budget and Forecast consolidationOrganizing, coordinating, and reviewing the controlling activities performed by the team to achieve the company’s objectivesProvides support and coordination in yearly or ad hoc audits (internal or external auditors)Effectively manage internal knowledge sharing and back-up structure for robust business continuityEstablishing and maintaining good relationships with company leaders and colleagues from other Ayvens entitiesAd-hoc support:
Issue and query resolution related to P&L allocation or Balance Sheet discrepancies with appropriate internal and external stakeholdersIncreasing process-level performance by implementing standardization and improvement ideasProvide excellent customer service with the ability to build productive relationships and resolve complex issuesAssisting the department’s other financial functions as needed/requested by line managerPerform other tasks and projects as necessary and applicable to the Financial Controlling teamJob Requirements
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business or economics (preferred)Minimum of 5 years in Accounting, Controlling or related Finance fieldsStrong knowledge regarding Financial Controlling and Management ReportingPositive attitude and proven leadership skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelPrevious experience with SAP is a plusProficient in English (C1); Dutch/French is a plusQuality and accuracy-orientedContinuous improvement mindsetAs a member of our team, you will benefit from:
