Hmi Engineer
Job Title: HMI EngineerJob Description We are seeking multiple HMI Engineers to support the design, development, and commissioning of conveyor HMI/SCADA systems for UPS control system upgrades. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from concept development to ongoing support. Responsibilities + Design, modify, develop, write, and implement HMI/SCADA/GDU applications using platforms such as Indusoft and Wonderware. + Support and install software applications, operating systems, computer, and networking equipment. + Participate in the testing process through review, analysis, execution, witnessing, and certification of software. + Engage in site commissioning activities to ensure successful project implementation. + Adhere to standard concepts, practices, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle. + Plan and coordinate work teams, providing technical support to project team members. + Lead and direct the work of others within the project team. + Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, project management, and customer groups. Essential Skills + 1-3 years of experience in HMI/SCADA software (e.g., Factory Talk, FT Optix). + Proficiency in HMI programming, specifically with platforms such as Aveva Edge, Indusoft, and Ignition. + Experience in PLC programming, Python, and VBScript. + Understanding of material-handling equipment and conveyor systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in material handling or parcel systems is preferred. + Previous experience with UPS or FedEx projects is advantageous. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
