**Job Description**
**Position Summary:**
Fabricate parts to conform to blueprints/drawings
**Duties and responsibilities:**
The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons
+ Prioritize work load per due date of product per machine in cell
+ Retrieve documentation from computer for specific job for each machine in the cell
+ Perform stability study of gauges used
+ Check process revisions using Q-pulse
+ Check print revisions and program revisions
+ Select tools needed for each job
+ Build, measure and load tools
+ Load and edit program
+ Setup pallet jaws into correct position
+ Load (and unload) parts for each machine
+ Operate HMC machines
+ Run first piece and check for accuracy
+ Troubleshoot machining issues
+ Measure and check parts against blueprint/drawing
+ Pack finished product and bring to secondary operations
+ Maintain a clean work environment
+ Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
+ Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
+ Perform other duties as assigned by manager
**Supervisory Responsibilities:**
+ None
**Physical Requirements:**
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
+ Lift and move up to 40 pounds without assistance
+ Able to stand for long periods of time
+ Ability to load/unload machines (requires repetitive lifting and bending)
**Work Environment:**
+ Some of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high
**Qualifications**
+ Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Basic computer and math skills
+ Comfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environment
+ Basic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, etc.
+ Basic tool knowledge
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions given in English
+ Ability to read blueprints
+ Must be able to meet quality and productivity standards
+ Ability to stay on task for long periods of time
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to be at workstation on time, every day unless otherwise authorized
**Additional Information**
**Salary and Benefits**
The hourly range for this full-time position is $23.51- $30.00/hour. Within the range, individual payrate is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
