What You'll Be Doing

Assist in the production and placement of hot mix asphalt using hand and power tools

Load, shovel, and move material manually or with equipment

Operate safely around heavy machinery and construction zones

Perform site cleanup and maintenance duties

Support teammates and supervisors with various labor-related tasks

Demonstrated ability to work safely in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment

Reliability and readiness to follow instructions and work effectively within a team

Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operations

Strong work ethic and ability to remain focused in varied conditions

Commitment to punctuality and task completion

Conditions of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
