Job Summary
The role of the Histotechnologist Student is to perform limited routine procedures performed in the Histopathology laboratory.

Essential Functions
Embeds and properly orients surgical and autopsy tissue for microtomy.Cuts routine tissue specimens according to defined protocols.Performs routine, special staining and immunohistochemistry of microscopic tissue sections.
QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, Clinical Laboratory Sciences or currently enrolled in an affiliated university as a student in the Beaumont Schools of Histotechnology.
