Job Summary
The Histology Technologist is responsible for performing all technical procedures in the histology laboratory, including the preparation, processing, embedding, cutting, and staining of tissue specimens for microscopic examination by a pathologist. This role ensures the accuracy and quality of all histologic preparations and adheres to established laboratory protocols, regulatory guidelines, and safety procedures. The Histology Technologist plays a critical role in diagnostic accuracy and patient care by producing high-quality slides for pathologic interpretation.

1-2 years of experience in a histology laboratory preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
