A leading healthcare facility in the Atlanta metro area is seeking experienced Histology Technicians to join their high-volume pathology lab. This is a night shift opportunity with the potential to significantly impact patient outcomes through accurate and timely specimen preparation.

Responsibilities: ... Embed, cut, and stain tissue specimens (routine H&E and special stains)

Operate microtomes and other histology lab equipment

Follow all quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance

Document results in LIS systems and maintain lab logs

Collaborate with pathologists and lab staff in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting

Working hours: 8:00 PM - 5:00 AM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
Minimum 2 years of histology lab experience strongly preferred

Education:
Associate

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Associate?s degree in Histotechnology or completion of a formal HT training program

HT (ASCP) certification or certification-eligible within 18 months of hire

Must be proficient in embedding, cutting, and microtomy ? technical test required
