Amergis Healthcare is hiring a registered nurse to support in a Orange County in a correctional setting at a Santa Ana Jail! Corrections experience required. 

Details

Setting: Corrections  Location: Santa Ana  Schedule: AMs, PMS- Full time 8 hour shifts Pay: $60 per hour 

 

Initial Health Assessments Conduct intake screenings for new inmates to identify immediate health concerns  Review medical histories and assess for chronic conditions or mental health needs  Routine and Emergency Care Administer medications and treatments as prescribed  Provide emergency medical care for injuries, acute illnesses, or mental health crises  Monitor chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and asthma Mental Health Support Collaborate with mental health professionals to manage psychiatric conditions Administer psychiatric medications and monitor mental health status. Health Education Educate inmates on hygiene, disease prevention, nutrition, and chronic disease management Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans  Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards for inmate healthcare  Collaboration and Safety Work closely with correctional officers to ensure safe delivery of care  Follow facility protocols to maintain security during medical procedures 

RN Qualifications:
