Join our team at Caring Hearts Clinic offers its patients traditional family healthcare services, but prides itself on being more than just a medical practice.  This APRN position is part-time 4hrs a day up to 20hrs a week with great flexibility. CHC have been serving the community of New Port Richey and surrounding area, for more than 5 years - a privately, physician owned and operated practice specializing in primary care (including managed care and direct primary care) with a growing emphasis on prevention, chronic disease intervention/management, IV therapy, weight loss programs and DOT exams.Our web portal may give you a better feel for our mission and culture. https://caringheartsclinic.com

Duties and Responsibilities: As an all care provider you will manage chronic conditions, evaluate and treat our patient's medical needs and work with a capable, compassionate team to bring a better quality of life to our community. Review and prescribe patient medications and order when necessary Work independently, with strong communication and collaboration under the direction of our Program Physician or Program Lead APRN Refer patients who have been determined to need care outside our scope of practice Patient education about health insufficiency and its complications Educate clients on pre-and post-treatment care for long-lasting results Offer DPC plans available at the clinic to clients. Perform initiation of basic wound care Collaborate with referring physicians Record clear and accurate medical documentation in the patient’s medical chart Aid as needed by direction program lead APRN with office coverage as needed Follow all applicable medical care regulations and safety protocols Perform DOT exams (if not qualified, take certification within a month) Administer IV therapy and weight-loss injections Required Experience and Qualifications: Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license required DOT certification issued by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration(FMCSA)
 Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical/hospital setting. EMR experience required, Dr Chrono experience is an asset.
