Centre: Springbank Job Type: Part-Time Hip Hop Instructor – Position Summary We’re looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Hip Hop Instructor who is passionate about teaching and inspiring young dancers! The ideal candidate has a strong background in hip hop or urban dance styles and knows how to engage children of all skill levels in a structured yet high-energy class setting. Key Responsibilities: + Lead weekly Hip Hop classes for children ages 3 to 12 using age-appropriate music and movement + Choreograph fun and engaging routines that teach rhythm, coordination, and personal style + Encourage students to express themselves confidently while learning fundamental hip hop techniques + Create lesson plans and progression tracks tailored to each age group + Take down and set up the dance room before and after each class + Prepare students for in-studio performances or community showcases + Communicate professionally with parents and Bright Studios staff + Maintain a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment for all participants Qualifications: + 1–2 years of experience teaching hip hop or urban dance to children and youth + Strong understanding of child development and classroom management + Ability to work with a variety of experience levels in a fun and engaging way + Background in street, commercial, funk, or breakdancing styles is an asset + CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) + Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
