As a member of the Health Support Center (HSC) team, you will support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier. *How you will contribute* A HIM Tech/Specialist who excels in this role: Responsible for coordinating and processing all release of information requests for all provider offices according to state and federal law. Analyzes all records for completion and accuracy according to department and hospital policy and procedures for the next business day following discharge. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
