We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 14 years of experience in mainframe technologies, including IMS DB/DC, DB2, CICS, and more. The ideal candidate will have expertise in system design, performance optimization, and production support, with a strong foundation in modern software engineering practices, SAFe Agile methodology, and cross-skills in cloud (AWS) and Python. This role demands strategic thinking, technical leadership, and a drive to deliver high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, design, develop, and enhance enterprise-wide systems and applications.Optimize MIPS/CPU usage through efficient coding and system design.Develop code using modern engineering practices, orchestration, and scheduling tools under SAFe 4.0 Agile.Analyze system requirements and participate in feature grooming and sprint planning.Create and review detailed technical designs and design artifacts for complex applications.Evaluate software/hardware interfaces and operational requirements.Write secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms.Support application deployments and production defect triaging.Ensure compliance with software standards during development and deployments.Proactively identify system inefficiencies and drive improvements through data analysis.Lead technical troubleshooting and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.Contribute to and maintain system documentation, testing records, and design decisions.
