Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in the construction, maintenance, or repair of roads, bridges, levees, drainage facilities, wharfs, buildings, or grounds; OR
Four years of experience in the operation or maintenance of industrial or heavy mobile equipment.
NOTE:
Experience in any combination of the qualifying fields will be accepted.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Plans and conducts maintenance activities.
+ Confers with officials to respond to road maintenance and drainage complaints.
+ Operates and maintains mechanical sweeper. Operates motor grader to grade shoulders.
+ Operates backhoe, tandem dump truck and front-end loader.
+ Supervises and provides guidance during work activities and assist with the training of lower-level operators.
+ Ensures the accurate completion and timely submittal of all documents associated with the work functions performed by the employees of the maintenance unit.
+ Ensures 100% of daily activities and materials are captured on the tablet.
+ Makes minor repairs to equipment and performs daily preventative maintenance necessary to keep equipment in operational order.
