You will be the High Power Electromagnetics Engineer for Lockheed Martin's research and development team. Our team is responsible for designing, simulating, and developing innovative electromagnetic solutions, and you will play a key role in creating nonlinear transmission lines for advanced applications.

What You Will Be Doing
As the High Power Electromagnetics Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and simulating nonlinear transmission lines using advanced electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or equivalent
• Developing and optimizing nonlinear transmission line models for high-power and high-frequency applications
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate nonlinear transmission lines into larger systems and subsystems
• Conducting research and development of new nonlinear transmission line topologies and materials
• Analyzing and characterizing the performance of nonlinear transmission lines using advanced measurement techniques
• Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including design reports, test plans, and test reports
• Presenting research findings and design results to internal and external stakeholders

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A Final Secret clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics
• Experience with high-power and high-frequency applications, such as radar, microwave, or millimeter-wave systems
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electromagnetic design and simulation, with a focus on nonlinear transmission lines and metamaterials
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Active Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Expertise in electromagnetic simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, or equivalent
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, transmission line theory, and nonlinear dynamics
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
