**YOUR MISSION**
As the HJ Watch Development & Training Manager at Tiffany & Co. Japan, your mission is to be the driving force behind the success of our high-end and core watch collections. You will elevate our brand presence, increase sales, and foster exceptional client experiences. By strategically developing event support, optimizing boutique engagement, and implementing comprehensive training programs, you'll ensure that Tiffany & Co. remains a leader in the luxury watch market in Japan. Your passion for horology and dedication to excellence will empower our teams and captivate our discerning clientele.
**YOUR ROLE IN DETAIL**
In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for:
• **HJ Event Excellence:** Seamlessly integrating our watch collections into regional High Jewelry events, coaching retail teams on sales techniques, and providing expert support during events. You'll analyze success factors and ensure diligent follow-up on deliveries and transaction.
• **Boutique Performance:** Serving as the regional point of contact for high-end watch sales within boutiques, liaising with the global watch team and regional merchandising teams to optimize performance and client satisfaction.
• **Training & Development:** Developing and implementing a locally adapted learning strategy for all watch collections. This includes creating and delivering engaging training programs to retail staff as well as tailored training initiatives for _gaishos_ and other external sales channels, utilizing various methods, and evaluating effectiveness. You'll also collaborate with global training teams to ensure consistency and alignment with brand standards.
• **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Working closely with the Watch Director and regional sales teams to achieve sales targets. You will also partner with the global watch team in Geneva to ensure cohesive messaging and event success. You will provide feedback from the field to inform product development and marketing strategies and partnerwith local training teams to ensure the integration of watch training into the regional learning strategy.
**REQUIREMENT**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with:
• A minimum of 7 to 10 years of experience in retail and sales support within the luxury watch or jewelry industry.
• A genuine passion for horology and a strong understanding of the watch market, including the nuances of engaging with gaishos and high-end clientele.
• Proven ability to train and coach retail teams effectively.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Fluency in English and the local language.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, creativity, and a results-oriented approach.
