Job Details:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. These positions could work in any department of the Hides facility.
TASKS:
Tasks include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, lifting (up to 80 lbs) and reaching. This position can work in a hot, humid environment or cold, damp environment and slippery surfaces. Must be willing to stand or walk on hard floors 8 – 10 hours a day. The successful candidate must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
ATTENTION: These positions may involve the use of a knife and hook to trim hides and/or operate large pieces of equipment.
Requirements:
Must be available to work all shifts, including weekends and available for overtime. This facility runs 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. *If an applicant meets Tyson's minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview.
