Hemophilia Community Consultant – Chicago Territory
PURPOSE
The Hemophilia Community Consultant will cultivate relationships with Hispanic community members and stakeholders (HTC, Homecare partners, patient advocacy groups and patients and caregivers). You will also work within the Hispanic Hemophilia Community to establish Bayer branded and unbranded education programs detailing Bayer’s commitment to the community.
The incumbent will actively seek opportunities to plan and execute Hispanic educational meetings within the Hispanic community and assess needs of the Hispanic community with respect to care, education and adherence to better inform customer marketing or support programs. The span of coverage will be the States of Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Illinois. With 50-70% travel, it is preferred that the incumbent be domiciled in the Chicago, IL Metro area as that is the center of the territory. The incumbent must already reside within the territory.
YOUR KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cultivate relationships with Hispanic community members and stakeholders (HTC, Homecare partners, patient advocacy groups and patients and caregivers);
• Work within the Hispanic Hemophilia Community to establish Bayer branded and unbranded education programs. Work within the Hispanic Hemophilia Community to promote Bayer’s commitment to the community;
• Actively seek opportunities to plan and execute Hispanic educational meetings;
• Asses needs of the Hispanic community with respect to care, education and adherence to better inform customer marketing or support programs;
o Work with marketing to establish culturally relevant messaging and programs;
o Work on branded brochures to aid in HAE sales calls;
o Work with marketing to establish a Hispanic website for KGFS;
o Deliver a brand message centering around Kogenate FS features and benefits;
• Work closely with clinical and marketing team members to ensure appropriate communication;
• Establish a cross territorial business plan for the Hispanic Communities with in the region;
• Work with HAE counterpart and Hemophilia Chapters to facilitate programs in Spanish;
• Work with HAE to establish rapport inside the HTCs, so Bayer can better serve the Hispanic speaking community;
• Meet or exceed sales or volume metrics;
• Work within a T&E assigned budget;
• Work within the constraints of all corporate compliance policies and guidelines;
• identify and develop future Hispanic Community relations executive opportunities;
• Work with Advisory boards to identify new ideas to help the Hispanic speaking hemophilia community;
• Manage and direct beta lingual team(3 indirect reports).
WHO YOU ARE
Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minium of 4 years experience in Hemophilia care, treatment, sales or advocacy;BA/BS DegreeTerritory and organizational management skills;Fluency in reading, writing and speaking in Spanish and English;Strong presentational skills and a strong understanding of market place;Excellent interpersonal skills;Possesses solid business acumen;Position may require 50 -70% travel and weekend travel;Displays the ability to work in a team environment;Computer competent ( word, excel, powerpoint, outlook).PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
BA/BS required, biological science or related discipline.
Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $130,429.00 to $195,644.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
