This position addresses physician leadership for all aspects of the clinic. This position is responsible for all services/systems required for an organized, multidisciplinary team approach directed toward the provision of the highest quality patient care. This position addresses the maintenance of established patient care standards and protocols through continuous quality improvement and total quality management activities in the clinic.
Job Description
Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Hematology/Oncology physician to join their thriving practice serving over 460,000 within a 13-county referral area. This physician will join a Regional Cancer Center providing Chemotherapy, Radiations Services, and Hematology/Oncology care in one location with the region's most advanced treatment technologies and equipment. Position Details:
+ Well-established group joining two other board-certified Hematology/Oncology physicians who practice in both the inpatient and outpatient setting
+ Hospital call shared equally at 1:3
+ Medical office suite located inside the hospital and attached to the Cancer Center - no travel required
+ Onsite radiation therapy and infusion center with Radiation Oncology available for consultation
+ Dedicated inpatient cancer floors with certified Oncology nurses
+ Outpatient chemo administration and 21 infusion rooms
+ Specialized cancer rehab services
+ Affiliate of UAB Cancer Care Network

Qualifications:
+ Successful completion or impending completion of an ACGME accredited Hematology/Oncology fellowship program
+ Board-certification in Internal Medicine by the ABIM
+ Active AL medical license/DEA or ability to obtain a medical license/DEA in the state of Alabama
