Who we’re looking for:
Our Client’s Production Engineering Stamping Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Hem Seibi Technician.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the development and manufacture of high-quality stamping hem equipment, from equipment installation, die set up and tuning, die modification, as well as documentation update and tracking through the project start until handover to plant production.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Stamping department's objective to develop new model processes, RJ (Ryohin Jyoken – necessary conditions), equipment installation, start-up, troubleshooting, production trials, and support achievement of quality KPI’s for new model launches.
What you´ll be doing:
Stamping die functionality and repair.Welding.Surface quality defect detection.Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems.Robot programming.Root cause analysis & c/m determination.Able to assess and teach team member technical skills.Support Seibi/PUGI team members as they prepare, troubleshoot and confirm hemming equipment and dies at vendors and/or in PE lab, during project preparation, equipment runoff, and during project installation phase with focused activity to ensure safety and quality compliance standards are met.Support project engineers in the development of machine installation and modification plans with specific focus on ease of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.Support activities related to creation of work instruction, risk assessments, denwachos, and KPI tracking with appropriate delegation of tasks to Seibi TMs.Basics:
Mechanical Power Press and Automation Equipment Experience.Motoman and/or Kawasaki Robot Programming Experience.Automotive/Automotive Supplier Experience.AutoCAD/MS Office experience.Interest in "hands-on" engineering and operations.How You Will Be Successful:
