Description Description of Position We’re looking for a caring and dependable Helpline Representative to provide overnight support to individuals facing stressful or emotionally difficult situations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Miami, Florida, where you’ll be the first point of contact for those seeking guidance and reassurance during critical moments. The role begins onsite for the first 90 days to ensure proper training and onboarding. Following that, it transitions to a fully remote overnight schedule. What You'll Be Responsible For: + Answering incoming calls, emails, or chats from individuals in distress or facing difficult circumstances + Listening attentively and responding with empathy, clarity, and professionalism + Offering guidance, support, and accurate information based on individual needs + Communicating fluently in English; Spanish proficiency is a strong asset + Utilizing de-escalation and problem-solving techniques to assist callers + Documenting all interactions thoroughly in internal systems + Escalating urgent or complex matters appropriately and in a timely manner + Following confidentiality protocols and organizational procedures + Participating in ongoing training related to emotional support and crisis handling Requirements What Makes You a Great Fit: + 3+ years of experience in helpline, call center, or customer support roles, especially in high-pressure environments + Strong ability to stay calm, compassionate, and composed during difficult conversations + Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is highly preferred + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Experience with CRM platforms or other customer support software + Emotionally resilient, detail-oriented, and reliable + Comfortable working overnight hours and independently supporting callers TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
