**Job Title: Helicopter Aircraft Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for performing detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components. You will also conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning. This role involves a significant amount of troubleshooting to diagnose malfunctions or failures on various aircraft systems and ensuring all work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
+ Conduct operational checks of complete systems to verify proper functioning.
+ Diagnose malfunction or failures on systems including aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
+ Ensure completed work complies with FAA regulations, customer requirements, and company specifications.
+ Follow all OSHA, safety, and environmental regulations.
+ Complete forms and records pertaining to the completion of assigned work.
+ Participate in flight tests on aircraft and log work to be performed.
+ Interface with customers for delivery, prepare for delivery inspection, and address any issues discovered by customers.
**Essential Skills**
+ Must have A&P license or 18 months of experience or repairman's certification.
+ At least 6+ years performing aircraft maintenance on Helicopter Aircraft .
+ Experience with UH-72, EC-145, EC-135, AS350, or BK-117 preferred.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills for aircraft systems.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in MRO preferred.
+ Airbus rotary wing airframe experience preferred.
+ Safran Turbofan engine experience preferred.
+ Pratt and Whitney engine experience preferred.
+ Will consider fixed wing with A&P License on a case-by-case basis.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a non-climate controlled hangar, which requires adaptability to varying temperatures and conditions.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Grand Prairie, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00/hr.
