HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I

Please see Additional Information section below.*** You will serve as a HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR I in the G-F DIVISION of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP BUTLER. Responsibilities You will plan, assign, and review the work for the General Services Unit and Engineer Equipment Repair and Generator Repair Shops providing technical guidance to subordinates and supported camps. You will supervise in the planning, organization, and distribution of work in connection with scheduled projects and develop funding requirements to include asset maintenance/repair/replacement. You will plan the use of subordinate workers equipment, facilities, and materials while adhering to work priorities, project schedules, resources, and detailed work plans. You will track and report progress on work assignments, requests overtime, additional equipment to meet schedules and recommend changes to work sequences as necessary to redirect resources overcome problems, delays, or unplanned absences. You will assist in evaluating mission requirements and implements the action required to ensure that materials, manpower, and equipment are available to meet mission requirements. You will provide upper management advice regarding organic capabilities and recommends courses of action to best support mission requirements for the repair and maintenance of real property. You will supervise maintenance and repair type operations in accordance with governing policies and regulations via subordinate Japanese National (JN) foremen who will communicate specific work requirements at their work sites. You will oversee the maintenance/repair of MCB Camp Butler real property to include life, health, safety, Emergency Maintenance (EM), Urgent Maintenance (UM), Preventive Maintenance (PM). You will identify maintenance/utility deficiencies, trends, and concerns beyond ability to repair for resolution through other action. You will execute emergency recovery (typhoon) actions including material pre-stocked, response teams, and pre-staged equipment. You will develop and execute a mission-aligned vision creating a positive, safe work environment that allow employees to excel, upholding high standard of integrity and ethical behavior.
