Overview Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator Location: Tuba City, Arizona Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment, designated during assigned shift, in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work. Assist and work with others on construction crews. Specified Equipment – but not limited to + Excavator + Mini Excavator + Dozer + Skid steer + Water Truck + Water Pull + Water Buffalo + Motor Grader + Scrapper + Gannon + Art Haul Truck + Truck mounted drill rig + Tracked Drill Rig + Art Water Truck + Rollers + Street Sweeper + Shot Crete Pump + Challenger Tractor + Di sc Tractor Qualifications : Applicants must possess high levels of skill. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in operating specified heavy equipment. Utility excavation experience preferred. Attention and commitment to safety, ability to follow instructions and the ability to move at least 50 pounds , multiple times daily . Prior exposure to year-round Arizona temperatures, incl uding summer months, is a must . Recommended: Prior experience reading plans, understanding quantities, JHA’s (Job-Hazard Analysis) , and Goal of the Day a plus .
