The Solid Waste Special Service District (d/b/a Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority) was created in 1993 and manages solid waste and recycling services in Grand County, Utah and its surrounding communities. Canyonlands Solid Waste Authority operates the Moab Landfill, Klondike Landfill, Community Recycle Center, and Canyonlands Transfer Station as well as providing curbside trash and recycling services.

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, and transmissions.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.Welding and fabrication skills (in some roles).Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and fieldwork.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
