This opportunity is designed for students who are passionate about electrical engineering and eager to gain hands-on experience in a real-world setting. The selected students will work closely with our electrical maintenance team, gaining exposure to various aspects of electrical systems and maintenance. **Responsibilities:** + Assist with electrical maintenance tasks under the supervision of experienced professionals. + Shadow electrical maintenance personnel to learn about PLCs, troubleshooting, motor controls, and other electrical systems. + Participate in hands-on projects and tasks to apply classroom knowledge in a practical environment. + Maintain a safe and organized work environment. + Complete assigned tasks and projects within specified timelines. **Qualifications:** + Currently a High school student at Heartland Technical Academy. + Enrolled in or planning to enroll in the ELTRN 100 course at Richland Community College. + Strong interest in electrical engineering and maintenance. + Excellent academic performance. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Strong communication and problem-solving skills. **Schedule:** + **Class:** 2 days a week at Richland Community College for the ELTRN 100 course + **Work:** 3 days a week at Caterpillar facilities (6-10 hours total per week) **Compensation:** $15.75 /hour **Summary Pay Range:** $0.00 - $0.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
