Join the Medicaid Informatics team to provide analytical expertise supporting regulatory and operational reporting across claims, enrollment, provider, care management, and clinical domains in alignment with state contract requirements.

This role is responsible for delivering small to medium-sized projects and fulfilling state and operational reporting requests. Key tasks include:

Collaborating with business owners to gather and document requirementsProgramming data extractions from reporting databasesTesting reports for accuracyPresenting final outputs for stakeholder review and approval

Success in this role requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously, engaging with internal customers across organizational levels, and delivering high-quality service. Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and analytical capabilities are essential.

This position plays a vital role in ensuring data-driven compliance with Medicaid regulatory requirements and supports the organization’s mission to deliver high-quality, efficient healthcare services. By transforming complex data into actionable insights, this role directly influences operational decision-making and enhances the effectiveness of care delivery across the Medicaid population.

Required QualificationsExperience working in a managed care organization and handling large datasets—including claims, enrollment, utilization, provider, and care management data—is required.Minimum 3 years of experience using SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large datasetsProficient in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, and deploymentSkilled in translating business objectives into technical specifications and consulting on solution developmentStrong documentation and coding practicesAbility to present analytical insights and reports to stakeholdersProactive in identifying process improvement opportunitiesData storytelling skills using Excel, PowerPoint, or visualization toolsExcellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with healthcare data, including claims, provider, member, and authorization datasetsPreferred QualificationsFamiliarity with SSRS, GitHub, Python, Tableau, and Power BIExperience with QNXT and/or DynamoEducation

Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or equivalent professional experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $132,600.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
