Quality Applicants Possess:

High School Diploma or GED Certificate - REQUIREDAssociate Degree (or equivalent healthcare related experience)Insurance Verification Experience (Commerical, Medicare, Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Policies)Referral & Intake Coordination, Pre-certification, Medical Terminology and Accounts Receivable KnowledgeOwnership, Accountability and Leadership MentalityLongevity at prior employmentBilingual ability (English/Spanish) a plus

Provides admissions office support for the facility, serving as the support person.  Manages referral, intake, verification, pre-certification, and admissions processes; conducts or arranges for facility tours. 

Qualifications

Education and Training: A High School diploma or equivalent is required.  Business or Technical School is preferred. Medical terminology and knowledge of process of insurance verification is required.

 

Experience:  At least one (1) year experience in a medical office position or in a healthcare registration function.
