Health Services Administrator

Westminster Communities of Florida, a nationally recognized not-for-profit church related organization is seeking an experienced Health Services Administrator for our Westminster Winter Park campus located in Winter Park, Florida.

This position is directly accountable for the overall administration of the Health Center, ensuring consistency of services and programming, efficiency of operations and maximization of revenue.

Essential Job Functions:

Oversee the daily operations of the nursing care facility, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide leadership to clinical, managerial, and custodial teams, promoting effective collaboration. Hire, train, and manage staff at all levels, including handling performance management and separations of employment when necessary. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure residents' individual care plans are followed. Meet or exceed standards of quality of care, compliance, staffing, recruitment, and retention, etc. Conduct regular safety and compliance training for staff. Participate in the creation of the budget and maintain operations within the budget. Oversee care coordination, admissions, and billing. Act professionally and represent the community to the governing board, the public, and residents. Works collaboratively with the Executive Director, Sales and Marketing Director, and other key staff members to ensure continuity of care delivery to maximize resident and family satisfaction. Assists department directors in developing and using departmental policies and procedures to establish and maintain rapport among all departments. Assists the Executive Director in preparing annual operating budgets. Reviews and maintains written records of all resident complaints and grievances, the action(s) taken to resolve and the status of the complaints and grievances. Assists the Executive Director to direct, serve, attend, and participate in various committees of the community, and actively assists in responding to recommendations, actions, or concerns that may results in the committee process. Supports the Executive Director to ensure that all personnel, residents, and visitors follow established policies and procedures, including safety regulations, fire protection and prevention policies, smoking regulations, infection control procedures, and waste and disposal procedures. Reviews accident and incident reports and establishes effective accident prevention programs. Maintains professional competence and keeps abreast of changes in the CCRC and long-term care field through attendance and participation in continuing education programs, workshops, seminars, and training programs. In the absence of or on behalf of the Executive Director, assume the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of directing the overall management and control of the activities, programs, and services of the community, its residents and staff, and financial assets.

Essential Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in a health related or business major Florida NHA license Minimum of five (5) years experience as an administrator for a skilled nursing facility (SNF) in a CCRC, preferably in a multi-facility organization.
