Health Sciences Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor of Neurology

This individual will work in education and clinical care in the general neurology program in the Department of Neurology at UCLA. The position involves teaching of residents and clinical fellows rotating through the general neurology outpatient clinic. The successful candidate must have an MD and be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology. The applicant will participate in the clinical, teaching, and research activities of the UCLA Neurology Department and within an appropriate subspecialty if this is relevant.

The UCLA Neurology Department is a high-volume center and the successful applicant will work closely with neurologists of many subspecialties in an exciting academic practice. The goal of this recruitment is to expand clinical care for patients and families as well as broaden the training for medical students, residents and fellows. The applicant will also participate in community outreach and CME activities for related health care providers.

The salary range for this position is $136,100 to $250,000 with the opportunity for higher earnings contingent on performance-based incentives. This position [includes/may include] membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment.
