**About GKN Automotive Hungary**
It’s an exciting time to join GKN Automotive in Hungary. In 2023, we launched a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility on the outskirts of Miskolc, equipped with assembly lines and office accommodations. This facility is a critical hub for GKN Automotive’s driveline technology, supplying our global customer base with industry-leading solutions. **What will you be doing in this role?**
We need an individual who is passionate about Health & Safety to join us and support the Director, Global Health & Safety, to contribute to our health & safety function to minimize organizational hazards to the environment (across products, equipment and operational processes) and risk to employee health and safety.
**Key responsibilities**
+ Take action to improve performance and to resolve non-compliance with the organization's HS&E policies, procedures and mandatory instructions.
+ Support collection of business requirements using simple document and workflow review to share with others for them to combine to clear requirements.
+ Resolve queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring complex issues to others.
+ Ensure regulatory compliance by producing comprehensive regulatory reports. Review and consolidate the information being reported and make sure it is accurate and timely.
+ Support internal communication and work with others to build strong understanding of regulation and registration requirements.
+ Provide training and awareness to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.
**Qualifications & Skills needed to succeed in this role:**
+ **Qualified:** Relevant degree in Health & Safety qualifications, **we are open to developing newly qualified candidates**
+ **Experience** : Working in a similar role within a manufacturing environment
+ **Language Skills** : Proficient in English
