Local Division Manager ELSE
ABB, a leading global company in power and automation technologies, is seeking a candidate for the position of Health & Safety Specialist within the Electrification Service Division, covering the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary.
The Health & Safety Specialist acts as a key partner to the service team, providing expertise, assessments, training, support, mentoring, and guidance necessary to create safe working conditions with minimal environmental impact. This role ensures compliance with ABB standards and local legal requirements.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Czech legislation and ABB internal standards in the area of occupational health and safety (OHS)
Monitor adherence to OHS requirements and coordinate internal inspections and audits
Conduct regular site inspections to assess safety performance and identify areas for improvement
Promote a positive safety culture focused on risk identification and prevention
Support management in implementing and maintaining the OHS management system
Lead incident investigations to determine root causes and define corrective actions
Contribute to supplier evaluation processes from an OHS perspective
Support the service team in continuous development of safety-related skills and competencies
Qualifications for the Role
Minimum 5 years of experience in the field of OHS, ideally with a background in project or service activity safety management
Excellent communication and persuasion skills
Collaborative mindset focused on finding and implementing effective solutions
English language proficiency at minimum B2 level
Willingness to travel regularly within the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary
Valid category B driving license
Advantageous: knowledge of electrical safety or qualification according to Czech Government Regulation No. 194/2022, and hands-on experience with electrical systems up to and above 1000V
