Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Health & Safety Coordinator (Saudi National) to join our team!

What You’ll Be Doing:

Site Safety Monitoring & Inspections:

Conduct regular HSE site inspections and safety walks to identify unsafe practices, hazards, and areas for improvement.

Assist in enforcing compliance with project safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.

Support the implementation of the project’s Health and Safety Plan (HASP) and other related safety documentation.

Incident Reporting & Investigation Support:

Assist in reporting, investigating, and documenting safety incidents, near-misses, and observations.

Maintain up-to-date incident and corrective action logs in line with company and client procedures.

Follow up on the status of implemented corrective/preventive actions.

Safety Inductions & Awareness:

Conduct HSE inductions for new workers, visitors, and subcontractors entering the site.

Participate in delivering toolbox talks, daily safety briefings, and awareness sessions.

Help promote safe working practices and adherence to PPE requirements.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of safety audits, training, inspections, and permits.

Assist in preparing daily and weekly HSE reports for submission to the HSE Manager and project leadership.

Support the preparation of safety statistics, dashboards, and compliance reports.

Coordination & Compliance:

Liaise with subcontractors and site personnel to communicate and reinforce project-specific safety requirements.

Support the HSE team in ensuring compliance with local labor laws, civil aviation authority regulations, and international safety standards.

Participate in emergency drills, evacuation exercises, and safety campaigns.

What Required Skills You’ll Bring:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction or infrastructure sector.

Exposure to large-scale or complex environments such as airports, airfields, or industrial projects is preferred.

Skills & Knowledge:

Familiarity with HSE regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment techniques.

Working knowledge of incident reporting, permit-to-work systems, and PPE requirements.

Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of safety software or apps is an asset.

Strong communication skills with a proactive and safety-conscious mindset.

Ability to work effectively on-site and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:

Certification in NEBOSH IGC, IOSH Managing Safely, or equivalent.

Basic knowledge of ISO 45001, local HSE regulations, and aviation-specific safety standards.

First Aid/CPR certification is a plus.

Experience in conducting safety inductions and awareness sessions.

Bilingual abilities (English and Arabic) are advantageous.
