Health & Safety Coordinator – Industrial Manufacturing (Full-Time, On-Site)

As part of their commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement, they are looking for someone to support health, safety, and environmental (EHS) efforts at the site level while working closely with both local teams and international stakeholders.

💼 About the Role:

As the Health & Safety Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in promoting a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment across the production site. You’ll work alongside operations and management teams to ensure EHS standards are not only met but championed. From risk assessments to employee training, you’ll lead the charge in aligning workplace practices with both local regulations and global group policies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with local health & safety legislation and internal EHS standards.

Conduct risk assessments and collaborate with managers on preventive safety measures across departments.

Support the development and rollout of EHS and ISO-related procedures, ensuring policies are clearly communicated and followed.

Organize training and awareness sessions on safety best practices, including onboarding sessions for new hires.

Lead regular site inspections and internal audits, identifying hazards and driving improvements.

Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommend corrective actions, and track follow-ups.

Monitor and report safety trends, creating actionable insights from EHS data.

Oversee PPE and safety equipment management, ensuring functionality and compliance.

Foster collaboration with internal teams, safety committees, and relevant stakeholders to drive a culture of safety.

Contribute to environmental initiatives, including waste management and energy efficiency programs.

Support production improvement initiatives, working closely with the Production Manager on 5S and process enhancements.

👤 What We’re Looking For:

Degree in a related field and a Level 2 Prevention Advisor certification.

Prior experience in a health & safety role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Strong understanding of local occupational health and safety regulations.

Fluent in English (spoken and written), with the ability to communicate at both shop floor and executive level.

Confident working independently while collaborating cross-functionally.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
