\nYou will report directly to our Sr. HSE Manager and you will work out of our Metropolis, Illinois location onsite on a rotating work schedule. The Metropolis Site, located in Southeast Illinois, is a key manufacturing facility supporting the Honeywell Fluorine Products business, a business segment of Performance Materials and Technologies. In this role, your expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory compliance will enable us to mitigate potential hazards and maintain a safe working environment.

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nCompliance and review of site and Health Physics standard operating procedures.\nPerform work tasks under the direction of Health Physics supervision as needed.\nRadiological release survey of employees, product shipments, vehicles, tools, and equipment from the restricted area.\nCollection, analysis, and reporting of results associated with surface contamination, airborne radioactivity, and plant effluent streams.\nQuality assurance and control of analytical equipment operation and calibration.\nPerformance and documentation of industrial hygiene sampling for the purposes of performing hot work or entering confined spaces.\nRadiological coverage during response to emergency conditions.\nSupport of routine USNRC inspections.\nThis role works on a rotating 12 hour schedule (DuPont)\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $71,000 - $80,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
