Shift Options

Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Mon-Fri 9am-5:30pm

Mon-Fri 10am-6:30pm

Mon-Fri 11am-7:30pm

M-Th: 9am-5:30pm, F: 8am-12:30pm, Sat: 8am-12pm

 

$18-$20/hr based on experience

Responsibilities Assist in the maintenance of accurate electronic records to meet the requirements for licensure and certificationRecord processing and physician record completionScanning and filing transcribed reports and other documentationDocument and data storage and retrievalRelease of confidential informationMaintaining confidential medical recordsRecord review and data collection Communicate with hospital administrative staff, nurses, physicians, and hospital leadership Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or GEDAt least one year of experience working in the healthcare industryAt least one year working in a customer service related fieldDetail orientedResourceful problem solver

Preferred Qualifications

Health information management experienceExperience with release of information (ROI) and HIPPAKnowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards Experience managing patient health recordsFamiliarity and ability to work around different time zones within the U.S.Ability to be professionally assertive when communicating with hospital administrative staff, nurses, physicians, and hospital leadership Additional Data
