We have an opening for a Health Information Management Coordinator who will collaborate with programs and utilize internal software to input child information, set up client charts, coordinate forms and other important documents, and manage health information storage and file closure.

What You'll Do
Maintain accurate and up-to-date child health records in internal systems, including chart setup, documentation filing, and Electronic Health Record (EHR) support.Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to gather required information for chart setup, care planning, diagnosis, and billing.Manage health information storage, file closures, and retrieval processes in compliance with regulations.Provide standardized forms and ensure proper documentation is available for care files.Process Release of Information requests while adhering to privacy and security standards.Support departmental goals, cross-train to back up other coordinators, and assist in improving health information systems and compliance practices.What You'll Need
Minimum of an Associates degree requiredExcellent computer skills, including ExcelExcellent communication skills and ability to interact as a part of an interdisciplinary teamOne or more of the following certifications or willingness to obtain within the next two years of employment:i. Registered Health Information Associate (RHIA)
ii. Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
iii. Certified Coding Associate (CCA)
iv. Coding Specialist (CCS)
