Position Overview:
The Health Coach Dietitian supports members in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized nutrition counseling, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based coaching. This role combines clinical expertise in dietetics with a passion for empowering individuals to make sustainable lifestyle changes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions focused on nutrition, chronic disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle habits
* Utilizing interviewing and active listening skills, provides nutritional coaching, information and support to empower the member to make ongoing independent healthy lifestyle choices.
* Develop individualized care plans and set measurable goals with members
* Document member interactions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with organizational standards
* Stay current with best practices in dietetics and health coaching
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated care
Essential Functions:

* Proficiency in motivational interviewing

* Computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency to navigate internal/external computer systems and MS Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel and Teams
Required Qualifications:
* Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration required
* Registered Dietician Licensure required in the state of residence
* Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field
* Upon hire, required to obtain licensure in multiple states where members reside (CVS will support the cost of required licensure)
* 5+ years of experience working in a multidisciplinary team
* 5+ years of experience with weight management, disease management, medical nutrition therapy, and healthy lifestyle behavior change
* 5+ years of coaching experience
Preferred Qualifications:
* Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES)
* Experience with digital health tools or telehealth platforms

The typical pay range for this role is:
$43,888.00 - $91,052.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
