Description
We are seeking a skilled Medical Administrator to lead our clinic in Omaha. This is a short-term position expected to last 3-6 months. If you have a strong attention to detail, passion for helping others, have prior experience in a medical or hospital setting, this role is for you! Apply today!
Responsibilities:
+ Lead staff in cultivating a positive and trust-focused workplace culture that supports achieving organizational goals.
+ Support team members in creating and implementing strategies to meet operational objectives.
+ Guide staff through organizational changes, serving as a model for ethical practices, customer service, and issue resolution.
+ Manage daily operations, ensuring productivity goals, revenue targets, employee and patient satisfaction, visit metrics, and quality standards are met.
+ Oversee and promptly address barriers affecting staff performance and service quality.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant standard operating procedures, internal policies, and external regulations, including HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and other applicable guidelines.
+ Collaborate with HR to address staff performance concerns or disciplinary matters using timely feedback mechanisms.
+ Analyze operational data, prepare reports, and meet deadlines on submitting necessary documentation.
+ Manage schedules and staffing coverage to optimize patient visits, ensure compliance with templates, and meet productivity metrics.
+ Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate orders for supplies and equipment while maintaining operational needs.
+ Preserve proper record-keeping practices as outlined by organizational SOPs.
+ Assist staff in maintaining operational flow, supporting administrative and logistical functions as needed.
+ Manage the physical workspace to align with safety, security, and branding standards.
+ Advance all services offered at the center, including reproductive health and specialized care programs.
+ Foster interdepartmental collaboration to meet overarching organizational objectives.
Requirements
Standard Requirements:
+ Support compliance initiatives, inclusive of confidentiality, quality assurance, and mandated training, adhering to laws/regulations like HIPAA.
+ Commit to equity and inclusivity in collaboration and organizational culture.
+ Participate in teamwork-driven activities such as meetings, communication, and issue resolution while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
+ Demonstrate adherence to attendance policies, workplace attire, and hygiene standards.
+ Maintain certifications relevant to job responsibilities (e.g., BLS certification).
Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Qualifications:
+ Postsecondary education in business, health services, or equivalent experience.
+ Two years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting.
+ Two years of supervisory or management experience.
+ Ability to handle confidential information effectively.
Desired Qualifications:
+ Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, Hmong) are a plus.
+ Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems like NextGen.

+ Self-motivation and capability to work independently.
+ Strong oral and written communication, including public speaking.
+ Attention to detail, organizational proficiency, and confidentiality.
+ Competence in technology and applicable software tools.
