Health and Welfare Support Lead
Job Description SummaryThe Health and Welfare Support Lead plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of GE Aerospace's benefit program administration and processes across the North American region. This position ensures operational efficiency and quality in HR services, tools, and operations. The support lead will provide high level support to the team hands-on operational support for benefit programs, working closely with HR partners, vendors, and businesses to drive continuous improvement and maintain standard work. The role focuses on implementing best practices to enhance customer service levels and streamline delivery processes and services.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

Address issues proactively and provide solutions to support the leader's and team’s priorities.Root cause and resolve escalations or challenges within the team or organization.Support the leader in managing projects, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align efforts with organizational goals.Facilitate team collaboration and communication to ensure alignment with the leader's vision.Provide guidance and resources to team members as needed.Plan and execute strategies to achieve desired outcomes.Manage project and plan implementations, including benefit plan change requirements, testing, post-implementation validation, and continuous improvements.Support ongoing Leave Administration for GE Aerospace’s paid time off plans and processes and GE Aerospace’s leave plans, regulatory leave laws and GE Aerospace’s processes in administration of those plans and laws.Analyze and produce reporting for government investigations/audits.Support annual leader and executive life renewal and ongoing process.Analyze and resolve complex benefits and eligibility cases.Monitor systematic files and work with cross functional teams to root cause any error fallout.  Work with cross functional teams to fulfill business requirements through operational services and processes.Maintain lean metric boards.Identify trends and opportunities to drive process improvements around key processes.Document, and articulate complex business requirements.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related Business degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration).Minimum of 3 years of supplier management experience.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience conducting regulatory or business research. Ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to leaders/stakeholders.Ability to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and communicate to others.Demonstrated skill in judgement to make decisions and handle complex tasks or probleExperience in reconciling and interpreting data sets, analytics, and performance metrics.Knowledge of typical benefit offerings, administration, industry practices, products, and methodologies.Ability to drive Lean methodologies with a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.Ability to effectively project manage small to mid-scale projects.Strong written communication skills, delivering concise written material with recommendations to drive to a decision/solution.Strong collaboration with cross functional teams.

Pay and Benefits:

The base pay range for this position is $81,200 - 115,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan.  This posting is expected to close on May 21st, 2025.GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
