**DESCRIPTION**
**Key Responsibilities:**
**HSE Strategy & Compliance (30%)**
+ Lead the implementation of corporate HSE policies and ensure alignment with local regulations.
+ Identify gaps in current safety practices and develop action plans to address them.
+ Maintain and update local HSE policies and procedures.
+ Ensure compliance with OSHAS 18001 and ISO 45001 standards.
**Risk Management & Incident Response (25%)**
+ Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
+ Lead root cause analysis and ensure timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
+ Support emergency response planning and training.
**Training & Engagement (20%)**
+ Deliver HSE training programs and promote safety awareness across the site.
+ Lead employee engagement initiatives to foster an interdependent safety culture.
+ Communicate effectively to influence safe behaviors and practices.
**Audits & Reporting (15%)**
+ Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
+ Maintain accurate records and ensure timely reporting of incidents and metrics.
+ Analyze safety trends and provide insights for continuous improvement.
**Administrative & Support Functions (10%)**
+ Perform administrative tasks related to HSE documentation and compliance.
+ Support wellness and sustainability initiatives.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Qualifications:**
**Education:**
+ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (mandatory).
**Certifications:**
+ Additional specialization in safety is advantageous.
+ Familiarity with OSHAS 18001 and ISO 45001 audit requirements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Skills and Experience:**
**Experience:**
+ 5–6 years of experience in a safety function within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
**Technical Skills:**
+ Strong knowledge of PPE usage, safety audits, and ergonomics improvement projects.
+ Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation techniques.
+ Experience with HSE Management Systems and regulatory compliance.
**Soft Skills:**
+ Action-oriented with a high sense of urgency.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to manage complexity and make sound decisions.
