This role supports Arvato’s newest data center services, delivering critical solutions such as high-security transport, white-glove delivery, and technical support. Our clients include hyperscale data center operators, high-tech freight forwarders, co-location providers, and Software as a Service (SaaS) companies.

As a Health and Safety Manager you will drive health and safety excellence across our operations, ensuring compliance with US and international regulations, fostering a positive safety culture, and collaborating closely with both internal teams and external clients to maintain safe, efficient, and reliable services.

 YOUR TASKS Conduct regular risk assessments (RAMS), site inspections, and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate controls. Manage the investigation of incidents, including root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions. Develop, review, and update Health and Safety procedures, method statements, and permit-to-work systems. Ensure compliance with US and international H&S regulations, codes of practice, and internal policies. Deliver and coordinate safety training programs, Safety talks, and inductions for employees and contractors. Lead and participate in site safety meetings, audits, and reviews with internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including incident reports, training logs, and compliance documentation. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure that all required permits and licenses are obtained and maintained. Collaborate closely with technical services managers, vendors, customers and site teams to ensure safe systems of work are in place. Promote a positive safety culture by engaging with staff at all levels and leading by example. Build strong working relationships with customers, ensuring clear communication on H&S matters and alignment with their safety expectations. YOUR PROFILE  Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role. A degree in Health & Safety or an OSHA-recognized H&S diploma preferred Proven Health & Safety experience with a focus on RAMS preparation and implementation. Skilled in liaising with customers during project mobilization and delivery. Solid knowledge of US Health & Safety legislation and industry best practices. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Flexible and willing to travel extensively across the US. Demonstrated initiative, innovation, and problem-solving ability. Proficient in MS Office and SharePoint. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Experience with MS SharePoint in a corporate environment.
