\t\t\t\t\tWe are seeking an experienced and dynamic HSE Manager on behalf of our client in the infrastructure industry. The successful candidate will oversee all security aspects of a high-profile, multi-million dollar infrastructure project in Vancouver, BC. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the construction industry.mplements and supports project HSE plans, regulatory requirements, and other safework practices.• Identifies, evaluates, develops and delivers project specific HSE training and assists withthe development of area specific training.• Implements area HSE communication strategies on projects.• Builds processes, evaluates, and advises on hazard identification.• Leads project HSE inspections and monitors the quality and effectiveness of inspectionsand trade safety plans.• Works with project teams to provide recommendations regarding corrective actions ofsystemic issues.• Develops and evaluates efficiency of the project emergency response plan, site-specificsecurity requirements and the environmental plan.• Monitors and audits trade partner HSE performance• Lead on-site investigative processes and provides recommendations for and evaluatingcorrective actions taken.• Develops and maintains positive relationships with all stakeholders.• Supervises, coaches, trains and mentors HSE Coordinators and other employees.

\t\t\t\t\tMust havesBachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.CSO level 3 - Required certs - Confined Space Entry & Rescue Certificate & Fall Protection Certificate10 years as a CSO in the construction industry - Order of preference being - Highways, Civil, Industrial, municipal infrastructureMinimum occupational first aid - level 2 with active certStrong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.Experience in incident investigation and causal analysis is required.Strong working knowledge of applicable OH&S and environmental legislation and HSEprocesses.Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to problem-solve.Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.Ability to develop, influence, and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.Strong working knowledge of construction processes and terminology.Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Suite with a strong aptitude for adopting newtechnology

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
