Job Description:
The Health Affairs Manager is responsible for effectively implementing and continuously improving the scientific communication and engagement activities in their respective cluster.
The jobholder is responsible of sharing knowledge about clinical nutrition both in written form and orally to varying audiences both internally and externally, to support Royal Canin activation plans across all channels of the business.
The jobholder nurtures powerful relationships with important stakeholders through consulting and active collaboration.
The Health Affairs Manager acts as an internal scientific advisor, delivering internal training and education, and ensuring a robust technical and scientific knowledge base across teams and functions, particularly customer-facing roles.
ESSENTIAL:
DVM degree, or an equivalent Graduate University Degree in Animal Biology, Food Science Engineering, Food Safety or Human NutritionVery good knowledge of canine and feline nutrition, particularly in a veterinary clinical contextVery good presentation and communication skills, particularly to a scientific audienceFluent In English, native level proficiency in FinnishHIGHLY PREFERRED:
Extensive computer skills with Microsoft Office proficiencyStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience in scientific stakeholders' management Experience in scientific communication, veterinary professional training, or equivalent, considered as an assetWhat will be your key responsibilities?Deliver internally and externally Scientific education in the cluster:
Implement as part of the Cluster Health Affairs team the development of all scientific communication materials and trainings for the AssociatesProvide the necessary technical/ product support by adapting and producing content and materials on the respective platforms, provide trainings for external stakeholders (consumers, veterinarians, veterinary technicians/nurses, students, breeders)Provide technical/product support to key areas of the business in particular customer-facing teams (field sales, Consumer Care), Demand teams, and other functions ad hocBuild and leverage Royal Canin Academy plan for the cluster to drive product recommendationsCollaborate with the internal stakeholders:
Implement the Scientific Communications Activation Programs in alignment with Demand teams for Executional ExcellenceParticipate actively to the European regional Health affairs community, sharing best practices and learning new capabilitiesSupport our Consumer Care associates in answering complex questions and enquiries in order to drive pet owners’ experienceReview scientific communication material as needed for marketing and digital communicationSecure Scientific review, validation and Approval of Contents:
In line with the agreed Contents Operating Model, endorse the responsibility of the content verification process user for agreed set of materialsValidate the market assets in line with the process and check their level of substantiation, tone of voice and scientific relevanceMore particularly check accuracy, the associated substantiation level, and level of risk, in accordance with our Corporate, Branding and Editorial guidelinesEnhance Scientific Influence and Product experience externally:
