Your role at Clorox:
At Clorox Peru, we’re seeking an experienced HSE Plant Lead to drive the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Health, Safety, Environmental, and Security Management System.In this key role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with both corporate HSE and security standards, as well as all applicable local regulations. You’ll also serve as the main point of contact with regulatory agencies and lead strategic projects related to safety, environmental impact, operational efficiency, and plant maintenance.

In this role, you will:
Responsible for implementing and reinforcing Clorox’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate standards. This includes managing HSE training programs, supporting legal and corporate compliance in collaboration with plant leadership, developing management tools, and staying up to date with regulatory changes to drive strategic alignment.
Ensure environmental compliance in coordination with plant leadership and manage plans to meet both legal and corporate sustainability requirements. Responsibilities include implementing and overseeing environmental programs focused on waste segregation, reduction, and temporary storage, with an emphasis on sustaining Clorox Peru’s “Zero Waste to Landfill” (ZWTL) program through continuous team engagement, monitoring, and performance reporting.
Drive continuous improvement in HSE processes by conducting regular inspections, implementing change-driven safety procedures, and analyzing outcomes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Coordinate HSE-related projects with Plant Management, ensuring timely execution within budget and in accordance with required standards. This role also involves close collaboration with regulatory agencies and supporting both internal and external HSE audits, including the strategic closure of findings and improvement opportunities.
Responsible for planning and coordinating occupational health monitoring systems, ensuring medical evaluations are aligned with the specific risks associated with each role.
Analyze and report HSE indicators at corporate, regional, and local levels, and drive corrective actions when performance falls below target.
Supervise site security processes, co-manage the security team alongside plant leadership, and contribute to the planning, execution, and control of the annual HSE budget.

What we look for:
We are looking for a professional with a strong background in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing and overseeing HSE systems in industrial—preferably chemical—environments, and at least 3 years in leadership or coordination roles.
University degree in Engineering or a technical field, certified and registered with the professional engineering association
Specialization in Safety, Hygiene, and Environment.
HSE management systems (ISO 45001 and ISO 14001)
OSHA regulations
Legal and regulatory compliance at local, regional, and national levels
TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
Basic knowledge of quality systems
Microsoft Office tools
Security systems and risk management
Advanced English proficiency is required.
