Role Summary:
The Kingman Health Safety & Environmental Rep (HSE)is responsible for safety, health and environmental programs and their related activities. The Safety Representative will ensure compliance with all established SHEA programs and maintain compliance with location and Flowserve standards. HSE stewardship is a foundational element of our operational excellence and key aspects of the people first culture we are building within Flowserve. This position is responsible for driving an HSE mindset and the right person will have a true passion for delivering beyond metrics and compliance to foster an accountable and engaged culture of HSE. The position will include tasks to maintain the safety and functionality of the property.
The Kingman HSE Rep assists in developing and implementing programs, procedures, systems, technologies, and standards that ensure the health and safety of human and physical assets and environmental stewardship at Kingman FPD operations
Responsibilities:
Technical resource for environmental, safety, health, industrial hygiene and fire prevention activities at the facility.Ensure contractors are meeting site HSE requirements through all phases of contract work including work permitting, risk assessments, and housekeeping expectations.Review, implement, and assess local procedures to match corporate HSE policiesConduct a rigorous incident investigation process focused on, prevention, root cause analysis and injury prevention leading indicators Investigate and maintain records for all work-related injuries and/or illnesses, provide statistical analysis, and assist department management in the development of effective health and safety countermeasures to continuously improve safety objectives Serve as co-chair on the Joint Health and Safety Committee and help to coordinate activities, recommendations, and accountability of issues identified by the Safety regulations and Flowserve corporate audits Develop and administer New Hire Orientation Safety TrainingInfluence leaders and employees alike to prioritize safety for themselves, their teams, and their customers.Development and administration of education and compliance programs concerning federal, state, and local regulations regarding all applicable and Flowserve standards, general HSE programs.Actioning and Tracking completion of action items identified through self-assessments, employee observations, and corporate audits.Requirements:
