Header Fitter - Night Shift **Location:** Beasley, TX, United States, 77417 **Company:** Chart Industries **_Ensuring Chart’s Success…_** Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is looking for experienced fitters for our Header manufacturing line. This position requires the ability to work overtime and pass a 1G and/or a 2G Tig test on carbon steel 2” pipe. Chart’s welders play a key role in the manufacturing process of producing Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. We currently have the following welding roles and shifts available: **Fitter** This role is responsible for performing fitting and tack welding plate or nozzles together to form a header box. This role may also be responsible for fitting and welding the root pass on end plates to header boxes. Night Shift - 4 **_What Will You Do?_** + Fits, Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques + Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles + Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process + Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness + Performs a variety of tasks + Promotes and supports safety and production + Makes quality visual U.T. and x-ray welds + Operate overhead cranes + General housekeeping of work station **_Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…_** **WORKING CONDITIONS:** Must be able to work inside and outside. Regular exposure to welding debris, heat, cold, dark and bright environments.
