What do you contribute?

You will take on both the leadership of the "Sales and Services IT" department and the role of "IT Business Partner (f/m/d)" for our Customer Services & Turnkey business units, positioning yourself as a transformative leader (f/m/d) and a strategic and reliable partner (f/m/d).

In your role as Head of the "Sales & Services IT" department, you will lead a globally operating team of 27 employees and report directly to the Global CIO of Siemens Mobility. As a leader, you are responsible for the development of your team members and will help define their development paths, particularly with regard to new technologies such as AI, Cloud, and Data Analytics. As a member of the IT leadership team, you will actively contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives and help establish IT as a value-adding business unit. You proactively drive change processes and apply your change management skills effectively. In addition to the SAP modules SD, LE, CS, and PM, you will also be responsible for the support and further development of platforms such as MS Dynamics, ServiceNow, and other business-relevant applications, acting with your team as the primary contact for users of these systems. Your responsibilities cover the entire lifecycle of these systems and applications—from requirements management and system architecture to solution design, implementation, and ongoing operations and support. Based on the overall IT strategy, you will derive a specific strategy for your area of responsibility. In doing so, you will always keep the value added for the affected business units in focus and contribute, where necessary and strategically defined, to the transformation of the system and process landscape (e.g., as part of the SAP S/4 transformation). You will also be responsible for introducing new technologies such as AI, Cloud, and Data Analytics in your area and ensuring their effective use by end users. In your role as "IT Business Partner (f/m/d)," you will be the primary point of contact for the Customer Services & Turnkey business units and you will interact with CEOs/CFOs and their direct reports in the business units. Based on the business strategy, you will develop IT solutions that comply with company standards and align with the business strategy, defined goals, and requirements. You will also ensure that IT projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business needs and expectations. Furthermore, you will be responsible for driving technological innovation within the aforementioned business areas, advancing the technical maturity of the existing system landscape, and actively participating in upcoming transformation projects.  

What do you bring along?

You hold a university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in Information Science or a related field. You have many years of professional and leadership experience in IT (especially SAP and application environments), with strong expertise in change management and business transformation. You possess in-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture. You have long-standing experience as an IT Business Partner (f/m/d) or in a similar role where you worked closely with business stakeholders to develop IT solutions. You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You demonstrate strong strategic thinking and are capable of developing and implementing future-oriented recommendations and decisions. You are fluent in English and ideally in German and are willing to travel (approx. 20%).
