Job Description:

Job purpose

Reporting directly to VP, Total Rewards, Asia, and matrix to the Country Head of Human Resources, SL Indonesia, this role will lead a small team of senior rewards professionals to ensure total rewards programs are forward-thinking, innovative and competitive to attract, retain and motivate talent.

This role will lead the development, implementation and communication of total rewards strategy, plans and programs which align with the business and HR strategy of SL Indonesia and support their ongoing and future needs in relation to the broader HR and total rewards agenda across all employee levels, aiming at attracting and retaining talent across the organization and promoting employee engagement.

Major accountabilities

Develop and manage total rewards strategy, philosophy, policies and programs to ensure alignment with the direction and business strategy of SL Asia and SL Indonesia.Lead the design, review and implementation of competitive plans and programs, such as annual pay review, executive compensation, salary structures, job evaluation, sales compensation, reward and recognition, employee benefits and wellness, etc.Evaluate and analyze total rewards plans and programs to ensure they are aligned with the business and talent strategies, market competitive, internally equitable, cost effective, and compliant with the local laws and regulations.  Conduct regular market analysis to ensure competitive market pay positioning of total compensation.  Monitor and analyze total rewards trends, regulatory changes and best practices to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Partner with business leaders, HRBP’s and other HR CoE’s and provide relevant compensation and benefits data, trend information, guidance and support on key projects and initiatives and critical talent and organization decisions.Participate in ad hoc HR and total rewards projects, external total rewards networks, forums and conferences to remain current with external developments.Oversees the HR Operations, including payroll, pension and benefits administration, taxation, staff cost budget planning.

Education and experience

Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or related field10+ years of experience in total rewards, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership roleExperience in HR or compensation consulting will be a plusAbility to communicate complex ideas clearly and influence key stakeholder at all levels in the organizationPartner with business leaders and HRBP’s to solve reward related issuesProvide expert advice and solutions to business leaders and HRBP’s to solve critical employee issues
