PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Head of Technology will oversee the strategic direction, budgeting, operational efficiency, and security of information systems This role ensures that IT infrastructure and services meet business needs, manage risk, compliance, and continuity, and lead the technology team The Head of Technology will liaise with stakeholders, drive improvements, and act as the primary contact for technology initiatives

 

KEY ACCOUNTABLITIES

Technology Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with business goals Guide the design and development of technology platforms and oversee IT infrastructure maintenance

 

Effective Business Partnering

Serve as the key technology contact for business leaders and ensure solutions align with business requirements and continuity Analyse business requirements for technology and ensure solutions delivery meets the objectives and roadmap

 

IT Operations

Ensure reliable IT services, including helpdesk, system administration, and user support Identify and implement improvements in service delivery and system performance

 

Vendor & Budget Management

Evaluate and negotiate vendor proposals, manage budgeting, licensing, and contracts Ensure SLA compliance and performance metrics

 

Cybersecurity, Risk and Compliance

Oversee patching, system upgrades, and risk management Manage cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and regulatory compliance

 

Strong Team Leadership

Lead and develop the technology team, ensuring capability growth and effective performance
