From maintaining excellent facility standards at the iconic Sydney Tower Eye to conducting routine maintenance on our Penguin Ride at SEA LIFE, to ensuring the temperature is just right for our Koalas at WILD LIFE and leading talented Studios artist team at Madame Tussauds no two days are the same in this role. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for: · Delivering compliance and efficiency in all areas of ride and facility maintenance · Motivating and guiding your team and technical contractors to deliver exceptional results · Driving a strong H&S culture · Developing and implementing robust technical safety and training compliance strategies · Overseeing annual maintenance planning to ensure budget control **About You** A passion for travel and tourism is essential for any of our roles, and to truly shine in this position you will also have: · Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities team within a high demanding and fast-paced environment · Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and facilities maintenance, as well as third party and compliance related matters · Strong background in Electrical / Mechanical FM desirable. · Ability to understand ride infrastructure, maintenance and compliance · Leadership experience and ability to inspire an internal team and direct external contractors The ideal candidate will also be trained as either a mechanical, electrical or structural engineer, or suitable tradesperson. **Benefits** + Corporate benefits including free access to all our attractions worldwide + Domestic and global opportunities to develop and progress your skills and career in tourism and attractions + Additional Leave (including birthday and wellbeing) and 3 volunteer days to give back to a social cause you care about + Opportunity to be involved with our Diversity & Inclusion initiatives, including our Reconciliation Action Plan + Being part of a business built on **_fun_** **About Us** Merlin Entertainments is the company behind iconic brands like SEA LIFE, Madame Tussauds, LEGOLAND, and Peppa Pig World of Play.
